It’s a place to discover accessible and inclusive businesses, explore local experiences, and share real stories from people across Australia who are redefining what accessibility means and looks like every day.

We chose the name beyond to reflect our belief that everyone who engages with this platform and its content can go beyond - beyond expectations, beyond limits placed by others, and even beyond what they may have believed possible for themselves.

Our aim is to create a space where people feel confident and empowered to say, “I’m going beyond.” Whether that means moving beyond the safety of home, beyond the perceptions of those who may not understand, or beyond experiences that once felt out of reach.

We also hope this environment is recognised as something beyond Permobil products and services. It’s not just about what we offer - it’s about the people who make up this community. In that sense, beyond belongs to all of us.

Being online allows us to go beyond our immediate communities, connecting people across Australia and even with others around the world where beyond exists.
