Writing funding reports is an essential skill when working in the field of assistive technology to prevent lengthy delays with funding approvals. This beginner level workshop explores the foundation skills required for successful report writing – a good assessment and sound clinical reasoning.

This workshop explores
- Use of the ICF to complement our assessment process
- Goal setting and the use of outcome measures
- Clinical reasoning for assistive technology and how to document this in our report
- How to use funding guidelines and the role of professional advisors

Participants will be able to
- Identify three outcome measures commonly used in provision of assistive technology
- Identify two core features of sound clinical reasoning for assistive technology
- Identify how the funding guidelines can be used to assist in report writing
